BOB ENGLAND, MD, MPH is the Director of the Maricopa County Department of Public Health, the 3rd largest local public health jurisdiction in the US. He has been a public health physician his entire career. “Dr. Bob” received his medical degree from the University of Arizona and his Masters in public health from UCLA. He has held various positions in local health departments for Pima County, Maricopa County, and Connecticut, and at the Arizona Department of Health Services, where he twice served as the State Epidemiologist.
