VANESSA NELSON HILL, MS, RN is a Clinical Associate Professor with the College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University. She also volunteers with the Black Nurses Association of Phoenix where she is co-director of the Heart and Soul Cardiovascular and Lung Disease Project. In addition, Ms. Nelson Hill is past-President of the Arizona Public Health Association and immediate past President of the Black Nurses Association-Greater Phoenix area.
