Elizabeth McNamee is Director, Community Innovation and Development for St. Luke’s Health Initiatives. The roles and responsibilities of Elizabeth fall into three general categories: 1) community outreach and engagement; 2) collective action initiatives; and 3) SLHI’s innovation grants process. She is actively involved in community development efforts to address the determinants of health and to improve the capacity of individuals, families, and communities to help create the conditions that promote and support healthy living and resiliency. As part of her work, she helps communities identify timely and relevant topics and establishes strategic alliances for effective change initiatives. Elizabeth is also the lead staff for SLHI’s innovation grant process. In that role, she is responsible for the design and implementation of the application, assessment and evaluation, processes. She is also responsible for the identification and maintenance of shared funding relationships with other foundations.
